The Valkyrie is a humanoid unit in Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness.
It is rare for women to have the qualities of a Valkyrie, but those with natural talent are taken in by a retired Valkyrie to live a life of training. The apprentices are called Liebes, and are trained not just to fight, but to survive. Their personalities are said to be a result of their training. Valkyries live by the words, "Women need to take action!"
The Valkyrie is one of the classes made available from the start.
The Valkyrie is a utility-oriented attacker when compared to her male counterpart. While the Warrior stresses raw damage, the Valkyrie is centered around gaining perks that assist her battle style.
The Valkyrie possesses less physical stats (ATK, DEF, HP) than the Warrior, but is much more accurate (HIT) and has slightly better SPD. Befitting this difference, the Valkyrie is worse with an Axe and much better with a Bow, making her an excellent class aside from the Healer to gather the Mastery needed to unlock the Archer. Despite her slightly lower damage Aptitudes, she still makes an excellent damage-dealer. Like most physical classes, she has a vulnerability to magic, particularly Wind spells, as she possesses low RES.
The Valkyrie's Evilities are all used for self-benefitting perks, emphasizing mobility over defense. Her Evilities range from an Attack Power increase per Panels moved in a turn to being able to move again after attacking.
“A lady of great flexibility and strength. Likes blitzing through a single point.”
