The Thief is a class in Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten.

A class that specializes in Stealing items, hence the name. Her native Evility allows her to steal with twice the base chance. She is the only character in the game with such potential, making her a useful support class in the long run. Not just for grabbing rare items from enemies, but also for disarming them.

As with all previous Thief classes, her combat potential is decent at best. Thieves have low HP and DEF, and sub-par ATK and but their phenomenal HIT and SPD makes Shoes an excellent accessory. Because of this, they can dodge easily, but attacks that connect with them will be especially brutal.

Thieves' Weapon Masteries reflect and enhance such a build, as Bows and Guns are both long-range weapons. The Thief's stats are aligned better with the Gun (125% HIT and 145% SPD at Final Tier), though Bows trade power (100% ATK and 125% HIT at Final Tier) for a more versatile attack range. 

The Thief is a decent long range combatant, but if the player wants the game's best Items, they can do no wrong in adding her to their line-up.
