Stat gain[]

Is there information about this in the games? I didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the tutorials. Is this a feature in all the games, or perhaps only the ones after Hour? Does it apply only to the weapon's inherant stats or also to item specialists that you move into the weapon? Tyciol 16:23, November 27, 2009 (UTC)

Staffs[]

Is there information on how the range as well as square area effect increases for magic spells based on staff mastery? Tyciol 16:23, November 27, 2009 (UTC)

It seems to work in "tiers", similar to the other weapons. (I wish the max range was higher...) I suppose I could look into the specific mastery levels for each tier, though by now I'm almost done with staff mastery on all my mages. NightChime 21:29, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

  • I'm not 100% sure on it but I think I have it figured out (and will translate my findings into the article). Until either the game or someone informs me otherwise, I'll assume the range and area don't grow past level 20, similar to skill gains in the other weapons. NightChime 22:11, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

Mastery Exp Earn[]

So I'm curious, what are the corresponding percentages of exp gain for each letter representation of skill? Like S would likely be %110 exp, A %100, etc, but I'd like to know the actual values. Anyone help me out on that? Thanks in advance!

I'm also curious about this, I did some VERY preliminary testing with staffs, and noticed one or two things. First off, I was around level 10 with a star mage, and her star spell was increasing by 23 points with every use. When using it on one enemy, or against as many as three enemies, there was no difference in point gain, nor was there any difference between attacking a level one, or level two monster. As far as I can tell, the point gain is based entirely on skill use (i.e. when you cast any fire spell, it gets x points no matter what the aoe, same with other teirs I think) so one of the fastest ways to level up weapon proficiency and skill levels that I've found is simply to attack somewhat weak enemies one by one. It's the number of attacks, not the number of kills that counts. Would like it if somone could find the actual values though :/
