The Healer's specialty befits its name: healing allied units. The Healer's function as a supportive unit is invaluable to a battle party, especially in the beginning of the game where HL is scarce and character options low. The Healer's Evilities all focus on self-benefit of some sort; such as its primary Evility which increases Healing magic strength up to 200% if 4 allies are next to her, or another increasing Mana gain.
Status-wise, the Healer isn't a heavy-hitting class like the Warrior and Valkyrie, instead preferring to pelt the enemy from afar with a Bow or simply support from a distance with a Staff. Like in most JRPGs, the Healer suffers from low HP and Defense, having extraordinary RES (the stat that fuels heals) and moderate ATK/HIT/INT to compensate.
The Healer's roles are thus simple: Keep the party healthy and strong.
