Glasses are accessories that increase the Hit Stat of any Character that uses it. They also increase the character's INT stat slightly, but this increase is insignificant compared to its Hit counterpart. Glasses are an ideal accessory for Archers, Gunners, and Axe-users in the first two installments, as axes reduce Hit substantially. They are a good source for the "Marksman" Specialist.
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness
In Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, Glasses are primarily used to boost ATK, and HIT to a lesser extend.
Glasses can be bought in the shop, Rozen Queen Netherworld Branch after the bill "Eyewear inventory" has been passed in the Dark Assembly. This bill becomes available after passing the second Promotion Exam. Only Glasses with the rank 1-25 can be bought and they will always be of the 'common' rarity. 'Rare' or 'legendary' Glasses, and Glasses with rank 26-30, can only be won as bonus prizes in the item world or obtained by Stealing them from enemies.

In Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice, to unlock the glasses section within the armor shop, you will need to pass the following bill, "Appoint GlassesGirl Lovers". Also, when bribing in the class council, glasses are the preferred item of the "Max Counc. Rep", VoidSlugs.
