Deathsaber's artwork from Makai Kingdom

The Deathsaber is a monster class first introduced in Makai Kingdom with the name of Hell Kitty. It first appeared in the Disgaea series with Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days.

Appearance[]

Characteristics[]

It is in fact a demonic version of the Slumber Cat, it has sharper red sabers-teeth, bright red claws, big bat-like ears and demon-like wings and pointy tail. They also lack the characteristic bell.

Gameplay[]

Like their animal counterpart, they are an attack-based monster class whose high speed and movement range make up for their usually low HP and defense.

Appearances in the Disgaea series[]

Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days[]

While absent from the original Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories, Deathsabers appear as a monster class in Dark Hero Days. They brandish a fish as a mace for their normal attacks. Since they have an ability that makes their attacking power to increase by the amount of spaces they have moved, equipping Shoes on them would be a wise choice. They can Magichange into fists.

Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten[]

Main article: Deathsaber (Disgaea 4)

The Deathsaber appears in this game as a DLC monster class along with Evil Ranger Pink. They magichange into fists. They are also a flying class, able to move through enemies.
