The Celestial Host is a character designed with ranged combat in mind. With Weapon Fortes in Bows and Staffs, the Celestial Host can devastate her foes from afar while also assisting allies with Healing spells.
Stat-wise, the Celestial Host is built like a Jack-of-all-trades. The Celestial Host's Aptitudes are balanced throughout her tiers, and all of her initial stats tend to average out with each other. When the player first unlocks the class, her Aptitudes are unimpressive. Once the Celestial Host reaches the 4th Tier, however, her combat options begin to widen, as she becomes able to learn all remaining Bow skills, and her Aptitudes begin enter the 120% range. Almost all of the Celestial Host's stats are balanced, with the exception of SPD and DEF, which suffer slightly.
Her primary fighting style is akin to that of the Healer's, using a Bow to deal damage and Healing spells for support. In practice, the Celestial Host can use any weapon other than Guns and Fists, due to weak SPD growth, effectively. (Of course, Weapon Skills must be transferred through Chara World and/or Reincarnation.) The Celestial Host learns all Bow skills, as well as every level of Healing spell. Unlike the Healer however, the Celestial Host does not learn status-changing spells naturally.
What separates the Celestial Host from other ranged combatants is her Flying-type movement, which allows her to move through enemies and obstacles. This makes her invaluable in situations where high movement is a necessity, such as cluttered Item World maps, or certain X-Dimension areas.
The Celestial Host's Evilities are geared towards support. Her native Evility decreases non-elemental damage taken by adjacent allies by 50%. Another increases the power of Healing spells by the amount of panels the Celestial Host has moved in a turn.
The Celestial Host is a diamond in the rough. Despite picky Evilities and only above-average growth, the Celestial Host can be customized to fit any setup with enough work.
