The Beastmaster, as in the previous two games, is a class that caters to boosting the power of monster units, with her evilities and unique skills focusing on this.
Alone, the Beastmaster is mediocre at best, with stats and aptitudes more befitting of a support character; decent all around (best in ATK, DEF and HIT), with the exception of rather low RES and slightly low SP. She truly shines when monsters are in the party; her Dominate skill and Dark Tamer evility will give a boost in power that caters to any type of monster, and she herself can become more powerful from monsters, with her Dark Blood evility giving her a 5% stat boost for each on the map. Even if you only run about two monsters, the Beastmaster is a class worth considering.
If you wish to make her powerful on her own, look into her final evility 'M Weapon Master' as a way of giving her better damage in battle. She has fortes in Spears, Bows and Axes, learning 5 skills in each at 6th tier; as she is a support unit, it is best to either give her a spear, for slight range advantage and a defense boost to let her take some hits, or a bow to let her pelt with supporting attacks from long range; the close ranges of axes is simply not a good fit for her. You can take into account the ranges of your monsters' attacks when choosing a weapon for her.
Overall, the Beastmaster is a brilliant unit to have for players who have monsters in the team, as she can greatly increase their damage output, but alone she does not excel as much as specialized classes without heavy effort.
